Historian | Explorer | Dual Ph.D. Candidate | Writer

Welcome to my page!

I am a rising historian and a dual Ph.D. candidate dedicated to contextualizing the past to help current and future generations understand who we are, how we arrived at this point, and how historical injustice continues to influence modern society.

From a broader perspective, my studies focus on transnational history in the twentieth century, war, historical injustice, identity formation, nationalism, cultural othering, race, and the violence of displacement.

I have dedicated my life and my research to understanding the ways that nations have excluded certain groups from cultural belonging based on race, ethnicity, or religion. However, understanding the past is merely my first task as a scholar. My primary role as a historian, writer, and storyteller is articulating my historical analysis in a way that is accessible to broad audiences and usable to the communities the narrative impacts.

Follow my journey as I explore the world to understand the past.

Ongoing Research
